How to Change Address in Aadhar Card Online:

Please note that if you've registered your valid mobile number to your Aadhar card, then only you will be able to update or change your address in Aadhar card. Because a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number when you'll request for Aadhar update through Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). So, please make sure that your mobile number is registered in Aadhaar if you're going to use the service of SSUP.

Enter your Aadhaar number, the Text Verification number and click on 'Send OTP' button.
A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number.  Use this OTP to log into your Aadhar account.
Step 3:
Next, you will be reached to the 'Data Update Request' page. Here, you'll see an array of options for changing Name, Gender, DOB, Address, Mobile Number, Email Id. Select the 'Address' change option since you want to update or change the address on your Aadhar card. And fill in your new address details properly.

After filling in your new address details, you'll be directed to the 'Documents Upload' page. Here, you'll have to upload supporting self-attested proof of Address document (Scanned copy) for the change of Aadhar address online.

After uploading supporting documents, you'll be reached the next step which is 'BPO Service Provider Selection'. You will get two BPO service provider selection. Choose any one of them.

How to Change Address in Aadhar Card Offline (via Post):

If you want to update or change your Aadhaar Card address details through the postal service, at first you have to download the 'Aadhaar Data Update/Correction Form' from this link.
To fill up this form, use capital letters only. Check the 'Address' box as 'Field for Update/Correction'. While filling up this form, use English and local language both. Use the same local language that was used at the time of your Aadhaar enrolment. Please note, Providing mobile number is mandatory for Update/Change in any of the fields.
You have to send the duly filled application form along with the self-signed supporting documents to UIDAI at the given address. Don't forget to mark the envelope as 'Aadhaar Update/Correction' on top.
